BLOGGING GUIDELINES
To ensure that blogging is both safe and fun, let's remember to abide by the following rules:
- Never, ever give out your address or phone number or any personal details.
- Only use your first name or a username.
- Don’t put pictures of yourself or others on the blog without permission. No linking to your facebook account. No PICTURES ARE ALLOWED !!!
- Use appropriate language. No profanity!
- Try your best with spelling. It doesn’t have to be totally perfect but you should make the effort to use spellcheck.
- Don’t be unkind or nasty about anyone or anyone’s work. Be generous in your praise.
- Always begin with a compliment before making a comment on how someone can make a piece of work better.
- Respect opinions of others. They are allowed to disagree with you.
- Everyone is welcome to comment on another person's posts
- Remember from the GOLDEN RULE, treat others the way you would like to be treated.
ANY CYBER-BULLYING WILL RESULT IN THE IMMEDIATE TERMINATION OF ALL BLOGGING PRIVILEGES.
Jacques Cartier
ReplyDelete#1 Jacques Cartier was born on December 31, 1491 and died in 1557 St. -Malo, France.
#2 Cartier was sent by King Francis I to find riches and a new route to Asia in 1534.
#3 King Francis I sent Cartier to the eastern coast of North America to look for gold and different riches, spices and a new route to Asia.
#4 When Cartier came back to France, King Francis I was stunned by what Cartier saw, so King Francis I sent Cartier back to sea in the following year with three ships and 110 men.
#5 In May of 1541, Cartier set sail on his third voyage with five ships. Cartier gave up on the route to Asia. He is now looking for a permanent settlement along the St. Lawrence River on behalf of France.
