Persuasive Writing

We have begun our unit on Persuasive Writing. Remember the tips to writing a good speech:

·     Introduce yourself to the audience

·     Thank your audience for listening

·     State your opinion

·     Give reasons why your audience should agree with you

·     Create a catchy/powerful phrase and repeat a few times

·     Ask a rhetorical question

·     Wrap up  with a closing sentence
