Today we looked at types of solutions
Solutions can be dilute or concentrated
A dilute solution: has a small amount of solute in a given amount of solvent.
A concentrated solution has a large amount of solute in a given amount of solvent.
Adding more solute can change a solution from dilute to concentrated.
For example, copper sulphate added to water makes a dilute solution. Adding more copper sulphate will make a concentrated solution.
