St. Kateri Tekakwitha
St. Kateri Tekakwitha was a Christian martyr. I learned that Christian martyrs were people that were very serious about their religion. They were willing to die to continue their religion in heaven. They were similar because all Christian martyrs took their religion very seriously and did not joke about it. They were different because some people were afraid of being killed if someone found out they were Christian while some people were not. A Christian martyrs life would have been very hard and secretive because everything they did for mass would have to be a secret.
