I found it interesting how Harriet Tubman put her life on the line for what she believed in.

I found it interesting how some referred to Harriet Tubman as the Moses of her people.
I found it interesting that even after the blacks escaped and reached Canada, they were still hated by some.
I found it interesting that Montreal was generous enough to give McGee his own news paper despite the fact that he was Irish.

Many Irish who emigrated to BNA because of the potato famine in Ireland died in BNA from disease. Children were adopted by French Canadians.
The camera and and steam to power trains were invented in Montreal.
