Today was our Divisional Meet and I am so proud of the hard work put in all the team members and helpers. Helpers, you made today possible. You gave your time and effort to make us successful. Whether you took pictures, stuck stickers, supervised the little ones, escorted younger athletes to the bathroom or timed the team as they ran, you demonstrated Leger leadership. Good job Asia Marie, Victoria, Vanessa, Makayla, Prestine and Azia ! Special shout out to my grade 8 tent guys and girls. Thanks to Jaylen and Adriano who got to school at 7:30 in spite of the rain.
To the athletes, what can I say! I am stunned by your commitment! You trained long and hard, either before school, lunch time or after. Wow! That says a lot about your character! To Adriana, Rachel, Meghan, Erica, Ayra, Dominique, Katie, Angela and Breanna, I am so proud of your momentous achievement! I almost lost my voice watching all eight of you qualify for Regionals! Great stuff.
To Justin, Donovan, Jordan, John,Chris, Ryan, Haile and Andrew, you showed remarkable leadership. I will miss you guys when you leave us next year.
To the subs, Zachary C, Daniela, Breanna who trained hard at all of the practices and made our team so much better. You were invaluable members of the team. Thanks!
To my phenomenal grade 7s, Claire, Callista, Dakari, Suzanne, Daniela, Praveena, Rhea, Christian ,Keon, Zachary, Chris and Chadd, it was a absolute pleasure watching you run your hardest. You have done so well. To the team leaders Zackery and Diane, that was truly wonderful running ! Awesome!
