Love is giving your niece

Stuff you won't get back,

It's letting your friend know

That our friendship won't be jacked.

It's telling your mum

That you want to be with her 24/7,

Or telling your dad

That he belongs in heaven.

It's telling your brother

You won't eat his food,

And telling your worst friend

About your lousy mood.

It's helping your sister

By taking the blame,

And seeing your cousin

Playing a hockey game.

Love is telling your grandparents

You miss and love them,

But through everything

Love is a gem.
