Love is saying good-bye,

But trying your hardest not to cry.

Acting like you care,

When the circumstances are unfair.

Canceling plans with your sister,

Even though you really miss her.

Love is loaning money to your brother,

Cause he doesn't have time to wait for mother.

Love is telling Dad its fine,

And "I'm sure my friends won't mind."

Wearing that sweater Grandma got,

Even though people make fun of it a lot.

Love is being interested in Grandpa's story,

Even though you have heard it a million times before he.

Still tells it like you have never heard,

Although you know every word.

Love is putting others before you,
