St. Cecilia

St. Cecilia was an extraordinary person. She was a very strong Catholic and was talented at many things. St. Cecilia once preached to over 400 people who then became Christians. Being Christian used to be against the law and because St. Cecilia was such a strong Christian people thought she was giving too big of an influence on the population. Because of this soldiers captured her to behead her. On the day of her beheading the man struck her with all his might but all that appeared was a tiny scar. He hit her again but still all that appeared was a scar. St. Cecilia was such a great Christian that she started to sing praises to God while a man was trying to kill her. Everyone at the beheading was so overwhelmed that a lot of them became Catholics. After many failed attempts of trying to behead St. Cecilia they decided to throw her in the fire.   To everyone's surprise St. Cecilia survived being thrown into fire! Even though she survived these attempts of killing her 3 days later she died. I personally think that St. Cecilia was one of the greatest Martyrs ever. St. Cecilia worshipped and died in the name of God which is outstanding to me.
