Love Is…

Love is when you have to lie

To help your friend feel better,

Or cheer your sister up

If she's under the weather.

Its saying sorry to your mom

For things you didn't do,

Or getting blamed by you brother

For something he did too.

Love is telling your dad he's looking young

Even if he's not looking good,

Or helping your cousin study

Even if you never understood.

It's knowing you're right

But still saying sorry,

Or helping your dad

Clean his Ferrari.

Love is telling your family

That you will always care,

It's doing things for others

Even though it's not always fair.
