St. Kateri Tekakwitha

            St. Kateri Tekakwitha is an example of a Christian martyr. I learned that a Christian martyr is a person who will do anything including taking their own life to become closer to God and their faith. They were similar because they were all Christian martyrs that would do anything for their faith. They were different because some of them were very open about their Christianity while some weren't because they were afraid of being killed. Their life would have been hard because they had to live a partially secret life.
