Our Tremendous Win!
The Seven Years war is finally over. After a hard battle between the French and the British, we came out a winner thanks to Wolfe, our brilliant general leader. We wouldn't have done it without the help of our brave general who sacrificed his life for the British. Also, we wouldn't have won without our brave soldiers who put their life on the line just for the British.
The British attacked Beauport and failed. Wolfe sent some soldiers and a few ships to Beauport and made the French think that the British were attacking there. Wolfe sent his finest soldiers to Anse-du-Foulon to attack there, it was easy because most of the French soldiers were at Beauport. This battle strategy was called the Beauport feint. Now that the British were on the Plains of Abraham, the French's advantage of being on higher ground doesn't help the French now. Wolfe thought of a brilliant battle strategy, it was called the Thin Red Line. Wolfe ordered three lines of soldiers all holding Musckats. He orders the first line to shoot, then orders the second line to shoot while the first line kneels to reload, he orders the third line to shoot while line one and two are kneeling to reload and than it goes back to the first line. This battle strategy used in this war helped the British win the Seven Years war. During this battle, unfortunately Wolfe dies. He was shot by a French soldier. Because of Wolfe and his army, the British came out a winner. Victory is ours!
