St.Cecilia

      I learned that St.Cecilia lived in a very tough time. St.Cecilia was a Roman Native living in a community were people had to hide their religion from others. Catholics would always have to have their mass' at night in someones basement. A fish was a symbol to tell people when and where the mass would be held at. One night Cecilia and her father were heading to a mass. The only way to get in was a secret door on the side of a wall. Since there were two guards on the top of the wall they had to be very careful not to be caught. when Cecilia and her father opened the door, there was a guard standing inside waiting for someone to come. When the guard jumped out and grabbed Cecilia, Cecilia screamed and the other two guards heard and ran down. The guard that jumped at Cecilia, swung his sword at her but Jacob and Tiberius's the two guards that ran down blocked it with there swords. After they blocked him he ran away crying but no one knew why? Jacob and Tiberius's let Cecilia and her father go into mass but Jacob stopped them and asked her father to marry Cecilia. Her father said no because he was not catholic. Since Jacob loved her so much he walked into the mass and asked the priest to baptise him so he may become catholic. Unfortunately after a while Jacob and Tiberius were killed because Jacob became catholic and Tiberius's let him.
